Summary of Our Lady of Lourdes Demolition Updates

Sharing our faith with others might be difficult or uncomfortable, but we are all called to do it! All are invited to a workshop sponsored by St. Paul Street Evangelization to learn how to do just that. It will be Saturday, June 10, from 8am-4pm at St. Mary of Mercy Church in downtown Pittsburgh. Every parishioner (15 years old and higher) in each of the 62 parishes in our Diocese can participate in the Disciple Maker Index. Disciple Maker Index is an online survey to assess the spiritual growth of the parish and our own spiritual growth as disciples of Jesus. All answers are confidential. A link to the survey will be on the parish website. The survey can take 15 minutes to complete. Access to the survey begins February 22 and ends at 11:59pm on March 31. Paper copies are available at the parish office beginning February 22. All paper surveys are due by March 15th. We will receive the results this spring/summer and will share what we have learned with you. your information from the survey is invaluable to us as we plan for the spiritual growth of the parish and strive to be the best disciples that we can be. Thank you for helping with this important project.

All are invited to a blood drive sponsored by the St. Isidore the Farmer Parish Knights of Columbus. It will be Saturday, February 25 from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm at their hall (2086 Smith Township Rd) in Burgettstown. Call Christopher Scott (412-389-1460) or [email protected] for more information.

Burgettstown Area Ministerial Association invites us to pray on Wednesdays in Lent at 7:00 pm at area churches. Saint Isidore the Farmer Parish will host on Wednesday, March 1 at 7:00 pm at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Pastor Angela Kress will preach. Pastor Angela is Senior Pastor at Abundant Love Church of the Nazarene in Atlasburg, PA. A reception will follow in the church hall. Fr. Harry will preach on Wednesday, March 8 at 7:00 pm at Paris Presbyterian Church located at 127 Steubenville Pike, Burgettstown, PA 15021.
