Do you know a non-Catholic who would like to learn more about God, or who might be interested in becoming Catholic? Do you know someone already Catholic who has not yet received First Communion and/or Confirmation? Tell them about what our parish has to offer! We will soon begin the RCIA program (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults). It is a place for interested persons to ask questions, learn about prayer, faith, and the many other treasures of the Catholic Church, and eventually receive the Sacraments of Initiation. It is not too late to sign up! Anyone who is interested should contact Fr. Zach ASAP at [email protected] or 724-695-7325.
A 2nd collection will be taken up the weekend of Sept. 11-12 to benefit the Bishop's Education Fund. Since the fund was established in 1995, more than $25 million has been raised. In the past 26 years, approximately $21 million in assistance has been given to over 50,000 children from nearly every parish in the diocese. Many students in our Diocese want a Catholic school education, but a number of those students can only do so with financial assistance. The Bishop’s Education Fund makes such assistance available. Thank you for your generosity!
All are invited to join Dave Keene's Bible Study on the Gospel of John. It starts August 31 from 6:30 - 8:00, and will continue for a few months on every Tuesday except September 20. It will be held at St. Columbkille Church Hall. Bring your Bible!
