The Respect Life Committee invites you to participate in the Spiritual Adoption Program. Here's how it works. You spiritually adopt an unborn child who is in danger of abortion by pledging to pray for the child and his or her parents once a day, for 9 months (the amount of time that a child is in the womb). To participate, cut out the prayer card which can be found on page 5 of the Oct. 3 bulletin ( download it here), and use the prayer card daily for the next 9 months. If you wish to put a name to the child you are praying for, a space has been provided for you to write in a name. Thank you for praying for the unborn and their parents!

This year St. Isidore the Farmer parish will be doing an Angel tree at all 6 churches. The trees will be set up on November 6th with tags. The tags will benefit the Catholic Charities and our St. Vincent DePaul Society. When you come to church you can select a tag, purchase a gift and return it UNWRAPPED with the tag firmly attached to the Church by December 5th.  If we run out of tags, you can’t get to church to get a tag, or would just like to donate, we are also collecting NEW pajamas for women and children to benefit the Women’ Shelter or NEW baby items(Onesies, Sweaters, Sleepers, clothing new born to 24 months, blankets, crib sheets, bathtowels, baby wipes, bottles, shampoo, baby wash, diaper cream or socks) for Lifeline. Suggested gift amount is $25.  Once again the Outreach Ministry would like to thank you for your generosity.

From now until Decemeber 10, St Isidore the Farmer Parish will be collecting baby dolls for dementia patients. The dolls must be new, life-like, and preferably between 15-20 inches. You may drop off dolls at the back of church.

The first Wednesday of the month, the parish hosts a lunch at St. Columbkille Hall for people age 55 and over. For more information, click here.

All are invited to annual Turkey Dinner! It will be Saturday, November 6, from 2pm - 7pm in St. Alphonsus Hall. Tickets are $14.00. They can be purchased in advance at the office in Imperial or the office in McDonald. They can also be purchased at the door. This year, you can either eat in the hall, or have it to go!

Throughout the season of Advent, the outreach ministry will be collecting food to distribute to the three food pantries in our area (Burgettstown, Imperial, and McDonald). The weekends of Nov. 28 and Dec. 5 we are asking for frosting, cake mixes, brownie mixes, boxed potato mix, and boxes of stuffing mix. The weekends of Dec. 12 and 19, We’ll be collecting soup and stew. You may place these items in the back of church. Thank you!
