Of all the services and works of charity that St. Isidore the Farmer Parish offers to parishioners and to the wider community, by far the most important thing that the parish does is Liturgy. At Mass, we come together as one spiritual family to give thanks and praise and worship to the Blessed Trinity, to unite ourselves more closely to God, to grow in in our bond of charity with each other, and to receive much needed spiritual help to live our faith well. In a very real sense, Mass is heaven on earth. We become more closely united to Jesus Christ through the Mass than through any other means.
Have you ever considered serving God and the parish? There are many supportive roles that parishioners fill in order to make sure Mass goes smoothly, and that the church looks attractive and welcoming each Sunday. Because of the pandemic, many of these ministries are on hold, but once things settle down, they will continue to be active once again.
Think about how God may be calling you to serve the Liturgy in a deepe way! Choose a page to learn more about the ways you can become more involved in the Liturgy.
