Eucharistic Adoration is when someone spends some time in a Catholic church or chapel, praying before Jesus who is present in the Blessed Sacrament. In the Garden of Gethsame, Jesus said to Peter, James and John, "Remain here and keep watch with me” (Mt 26:38). This is what we do at Eucharistic Adoration. We keep watch with Jesus by praying before Him. While anyone can do this on their own, some parishes offer set times for people to adore the Lord as a group.
