One of the greatest ministries that one can perform is bringing Communion to the sick and the shut-ins. The Eucharist is a great source of consolation and spiritual nourishment for them. They need Holy Communion in their lives, and you can help by bringing them the Eucharist!
This ministry essentially entails distributing the Eucharist to those who are homebound, and/or to those who are in hospitals or nursing homes. The parish will provide you a short book of prayers that you pray with the person before giving Communion.
If, after much prayer, you feel called to take part in this ministry, you have come to the right place.
The schedule is flexible. You tell us when you are free to perform this ministry, and how often you are able to serve, and we'll help figure out the logistics. To sign up, please contact Fr. Harry. If you have have already been in touch with the parish, and are ready to listen to a recording of the training, CLICK HERE.
